Compare platforms & build a checklist →The decision this platform raises
Consider CASEpeer when your firm wants to evaluate a PI-focused system against a published tier structure. Build the comparison around the tier that includes your communication and intake needs, then add optional services.
Pricing and package scope
Published tier pricesPublished monthly per-user prices: Basic $90, Pro $130, Advanced $160. Confirm current terms and optional services. Official vendor source ↗
Ask for a written quote using your actual users and required workflows. Separate recurring licenses, usage, third-party services, implementation, and migration. Published features do not establish your contract terms.
What to verify by operating area
Intake & handoff
Tier dependentClient intake is listed in Pro. Confirm which intake portal and automation functions your proposed tier includes. Official source ↗
Acceptance test: Create an inquiry, preserve its source and communication history, sign an agreement, then convert it into a matter. Which fields and attachments transfer?
PI case operations
Basic and higherBasic lists medical treatment, settlement negotiations, case expenses, and statute alerts. Official source ↗
Acceptance test: Walk through treatment, record requests, medical bills, liens, expenses, and a proposed settlement. Show who owns each next action.
Reporting & attribution
Tier dependentReporting expands by tier; Advanced lists multi-office reports and data sync. Official source ↗
Acceptance test: Trace a signed case to its original campaign. Reconcile the report to actual matters, including duplicates, referrals, rejected leads, and unknown sources.
Client communication
Tier + add-onBasic lists a client portal; Pro adds two-way texting. E-signature is an add-on across tiers. Official source ↗
Acceptance test: Send a message, collect a document, and reassign the matter. Show the shared history, permissions, and escalation when nobody responds.
Integration & exit
Optional serviceMigration is optional. Agree the records, attachments, validation, and fees before committing. Official source ↗
Acceptance test: Import a representative sample, reconcile totals and attachments, and export it again. Who fixes mapping errors, and what is omitted from the export?
Three questions for your CASEpeer demo
- Demonstrate our full intake workflow in the exact proposed tier, including signature and follow-up.
- Show treatment tracking, expenses, liens, and settlement calculations for a sample matter.
- Which reporting, texting, data-sync, e-signature, and migration costs fall outside our base subscription?
Use a sanitized or fictional case. Have the people who will perform the work observe the demonstration. Record what worked live, what required configuration, and what remains unresolved.
Plan implementation before the signature
Assign a firm-side owner, map required fields and permissions, and test a representative import. Reconcile matter counts, documents, deadlines, and source history. Define the launch gate and a recovery plan if a critical workflow fails.
Review exceptions after launch rather than counting logins alone. Can the next responsible person see the full history, the next action, and the deadline? Can leadership reconcile the report to actual cases?
Build the handoff requirements with our intake follow-up audit and law-firm attribution guide.
Meet the ecosystem with a plan
